The Notorious Hunting Billbug

Hunting bill bug is becoming a major problem in turfgrass. The adult is a type of weevil and has a snout that is used to feed and chew notches in leaf blades. The majority of the hunting billbug's activity is a night, which makes it rather difficult to spot them. If left untreated they can destroy a lawn in a very short amount of time.
